HIWIN precision ball screws are made through a grinding process of the screw spindle.

HIWIN precision ball screws provide the most smooth and accurate movement, together with low drive torque, high stiffness and quiet motion with predictable lengthened service life.

Ground ball screws provide the highest accuracy compared to all other types of ball screws, they achieve precision grade up to V300p=3,5 µm and they are mainly used in high performance machine tools.

HIWIN precision ground ball screws are manufactured on request as they are usually customized in terms of ball nut dimension, preload, seals, workload and shaft end machining.
